The
digital destination concept was developed by Doug as a way to visually
represent the critical and value-add components of a successful
e-commerce property.
By
using an island, navigated to by a browser, as his theme, he was
able to visually communicate the experience of browsing to management,
marketing and technology personnel simply and with immediacy.
The
model became part of a very deep navigable director presentation
which was employed to educate as well as to present development
projects.
