Brilliant Images was a leading Sydney, Australia, reprographics firm specializing in slide, transparency and presentation work.

Doug, on a whimsy, elected to go with the "future's so bright, I gotta wear shades" look. Surprisingly enough, management loved the concept and went with it; the market responded well and it stuck.

The Ray Bans in the image were illustrated from scratch using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, on a Macintosh Quadra 840.

Ray Bans, Australia like having wayfarers in a prominent logo so they ended up giving all the staff members of Brilliant Images a discount on any Ray Bans products.
